Pembahasan soal terminal handling charge dilanjutkan

JAKARTA: Pelaku usaha logistik mengharapkan menteri bidang ekonomi Kabinet Indonesia Bersatu II mampu memangkas biaya tinggi dalam pengurusan arus barang.

Sekretaris Jenderal Gabungan Pengusaha Makanan dan Minuman Indonesia (Gapmmi) Franky Sibarani mengatakan tim ekonomi yang baru diharapkan berkoordinasi lebih baik agar kegiatan di sektor logistik tidak dibebani biaya tinggi.

"Tim ekonomi yang akan dipimpin Menko Perekonomian yang baru diharapkan mampu berkoordinsai guna memangkas biaya logistik, termasuk menurunkan tarif THC [terminal handling charge],"ujarnya kemarin

The supply chain constantly changes and that will affect any logistics organization. To adapt to the flexibility of the supply chain, companies should develop and implement a formal logistics strategy. This will allow a company to identify the impact of imminent changes and make organizational or functional changes to ensure service levels are not reduced.
