Inventory Management
– Quick Tips & Tricks –
SCHEDULE
Thursday, 13 October 2011
Hotel Bidakara, Jl. Jend. Gatot Soebroto, Jakarta
Most people are entrusted with inventory management responsibility
without the benefit of proper training and hands-on exposure into the
complexities of managing inventory. On the other hand, seasoned inventory
management practitioners have used time-tested methods that utilize
quantitative methods as well as leading practices to tackle inventory
challenges.
This one-day workshop is not a typical inventory management workshop.
It is a group-live session designed for people who want to take an aggressive,
hands-on approach to dealing with their inventory challenges.
Participants should have at least one year of experience working in an
inventory-related area as a prerequisite.
By spending
one-day, you will learn quick tricks and tips on the following:
ü
Viewing inventory both as an asset & a
liability

In the afternoon, the workshop leader will take participants through
an inventory management simulation game that realistically portray a real
supply chain with uncertainties e.g. delay, damage to order quantity, quality
problems, etc. These uncertainties impact inventory decisions and participants
will learn (by actually doing) how to overcome challenges.
