Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

 

Working with transport vendors, and international carriers, and owner operatorsManaging daily customer activity ensuring timely order entry, and delivery follow-upDeveloping, and implementing of process improvementsFostering good working relationships with all coworkers, customers, and vendorsGenerating business leads from current customer base

 

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following background and ability:

 

A proven track record of success in all aspects of operational traffic managementA results-driven, assertive nature, supportive of the organizational philosophyGreat organizational skills with special emphasis on details and follow throughStrong data and analytical skillsAbility to proactively anticipate problems and communicate effectivelyBachelor's degree in Business or Logistics or related job experiencePrepared to travel inter-island to our branches
