JOB PROFILE:

LEX_ID – SORTATION_LINE HAUL & Shuttle Manager

 

Mission

Contribute to strategic plans on how to achieve LEX Goals. Provide weekly performance reporting of LH&S performance. Develop working relationships with potential partners, leveraging on their strengths and their own network and our requirements.

 

Core responsibilities:

Oversee the capacity planning, economics and network development of LH&S.

Examine performance of LH&S.

Keep updated with regulatory developments which could affect LH&S services.

Work with Fleet to negotiate most costs effective shuttle vehicle profile.

Establish and monitor controls that will ensure that we are properly and accurately billed by our vendors.

Ensure that vehicles are right sized given area and volume requirements.

Implementing SOPs and Policies in relation to LH&S Safety and Security provided by Regional LH&S.

In conjunction with Sort and Last Mile teams, establish optimum cut-offs times that will allow for the highest number parcels delivered on time. Regularly review these cut-offs given changes in volume and Hubs foot print.

 

Requirements:

University Degree along with a specialist logistic transportations and supply chain qualifications preferred.

Approximately 4-5 years’ relevant experience in logistic transportations and supply chain industry.

Advance understanding of operation management, productivity and efficiency.

True field leader, influencer and motivator.

Data analysis.

Root cause analysis.

Forecasting.

Mentoring.

Report preparations.

Presentation.

Project Management.
