JOB PROFILE:

LEX_ID – SORTATION_LINE HAUL & Shutte Supervisor

 

Mission

In conjunction with Sort and Last Mile teams, establish optimum cut-offs times that will allow for the highest number parcels delivered on time. Regularly review these cut-offs given changes in volume and Hubs foot print.

 

Core responsibilities:

Monitoring performance of LH&S.

Provide daily utilization report of LH&S.

Provide weekly performance reporting of LH&S performance

Develop working relationships with potential partners, leveraging on their strengths and their own network and our requirements.

Keep updated with regulatory developments which could affect LH&S services.

Work with Fleet to negotiate most costs effective shuttle vehicle profile.

Ensure that vehicles are right sized given area and volume requirements.

Implementing SOPs and Policies in relation to LH&S Safety and Security provided by Regional LH&S.

 

Requirements:

University Degree along with a specialist logistic transportations and supply chain qualifications preferred.

Approximately 2-3 years’ relevant experience in logistic transportations and supply chain industry.

True field leader, influencer and motivator.

Data and root cause analysis.

Mentoring.

Report preparations.
