JOB PROFILE:

LEX_ID – PROCESS & SUPPORT_LMS Manager

 

Mission

This is country base and will report directly to respective Country Operations with indirect reporting to regional VP of Processes. The primarily responsibility for this role is to proactively upkeep, support with a goal of zero downtime while continually seeking to improve Lazada Express’s (LEX) Logistics Management System (LMS).

 

Core responsibilities:

SYSTEM MANAGEMENT - Proactively troubleshoot and upkeep Lazada Express LMS to constantly meet or exceed merchants and customers’ requirement.

SYSTEM ISSUES ESCALATION – Understand existing LMS capabilities, identifying root causes of the issues and escalate/follow up issues to helpdesk for when needed. Validate LMS issues raise from own country

IMPLEMENTATION – Provide the leadership with the implementation of new processes and LMS new upgrade/features/enhancement. Monitor the progress performance ensuring changes are successful implemented.

LMS CALL-OUTs – Representing country and participate in the in the call-outs

LMS/LMS SUPPORT SYSTEM UPDATES– Ensure all LMS/LMS support system updates are timely deployed.

LMS/LMS RELATED EQUIPMENT– 100% Inventory Accountability of LMS Equipment assets.

DOCUMENTATION – Prepare and maintain LMS training material and SOP to suit local venture effectiveness. Create and maintain documentation of all business applications, maintain its relevancy to the business.

 

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics

5-7 years of working experience in the Last Mile Delivery System, Operations Processes and, preferably from E commerce.

Sound knowledge with Logistics Operations and Last Mile Delivery processes and systems

Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills

Ability to process and analyse large amount of data

Highly numerical, detail-oriented, methodical and self-motivated

Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word

Working with tight datelines from ad-hoc requests

 

Core responsibilities:

PERFORMANCE - Monitor LMS and PROCESS performance TRAINING – Implement Regional SOPs, SOWs. Provide translation and conduct relevant training programs in order to mitigate these gaps to ensure the training quality and parameters are met. PROJECT Management – Managing and be part of local venture to roll out company initiatives and projects related to LMS and processes according to requirement with timely implementation TACTICAL ROUTE PLANNING – Ensure optimisation of courier capacity and routes/runs OPERATIONS STAFFING OPTIMISATION - Ensure optimisation of Operations staffing in the warehouse operations REGIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT - Provide improvement recommendations ensuring LMS to remain relevant, efficient, effective for the needs of the business for future enhancement STANDARDISATION - Ensure implementation of processes, work methods, performance/throughput standards and measurement systems are aligned to regional requirement and standards MONITORING - Monitoring of productivity, service and cost performance. TEAM CALL-OUTs – Representing local venture and participate in the team call REGIONAL LMS CALL-OUTs - Representing local venture and participate in the call REQUIREMENTS

 

Requirements:

Ability to work under sustained pressure

Work in a matrix organization between local venture and regional management

Ability work independently and make the rightjudgement decision

Effectively bilingual in both English and local language a must

Working extended hours during off days to fulfil requirements.
