Research and Training Institute (JSI) is seeking a qualified candidate
for the position of Provincial Program Officer - Supply Chain Management. Position are avalaibel in North Sumatra, South Sulawesi, DKI Jakarta, and Central Java.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
My
Choice project is a two-and-a-half year project designed to contibuted
to the Government of Indonesias family planning goal to increase the
nationals mCPR (modern Contraceptive Prevalence Rate) by addressing
barriers to supply and demand issues in 11 districts aligned with the
Indonesian governments priorites. JSI as a sub-contractor to the John
Hopkins University Center for Communication Program (JHU-CCP) will
implement the Contraceptive Supply Chain Management component of this
project that will support demand generation and access to FP by ensuring
the availability of a range of contraceptive methods at Districts adn
the network of FP Service Delivery Points in the selected districts. The
project will be implemented in four provinces - North Sumatra, Central
Java, South Sulawesi and DKI Jakarta.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Provincial Program Officer for supply chain management will be required to be based in the province and this position would require considerable travel to the project districts in their province. Positions are available in Nort Sumatra, South Sulawesi, DKI Jakarta, and Central Java. This position will report to the National Program Officer for the SCM component of Project. The provincial program officer will be reponsible for coordination and monitoring of project activities at the province and district level and provide technical assistance in the area of supply chain management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate activities with Bkkbn provincial and district teams as well as district government, district health office and other relevant stakeholders.Develop Work plans and provide technical assistance and training on relevant supply chain components (Storage, Inventory Management, Distribution, etc).Coordinate and participate in various family planning and inter sectorial forums/working groups at the province and district level representing the supply chain component.Work with the consultants at the district level for SCM improvementCoordinate with project consortium partners and represent JSI at consortium meetings.Monitoring activities - Assist/provide logistics monitoring and supportive supervision at project sites. Act as point person for field-based monitoring and supportive of logistics management Assist in data collection and data quality assurance.Assessment activities - Assist in organizing and conducting logistics assessments at project sites, including development of assessment tools, use of tools, and analyzing results.Reporting - Prepare reports and disseminate activity results to the national office and other stakeholders.Coordinate and schedule site visits as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
University undergraduate degree (mastres is preferred) in Public Health, Pharmacy, Logistics Management, Business Management or related field.At least five years professional experience in implementing programs, including at least two years experience in logistics.Experience working with public health commodities and logistics/supply chain management is preferred.Monitoring and evaluation experiences is strongly desired.Knowledge of Bkkbn and the family planning program is strongly desired.Ability to prepare and present information related to public health and supply chains.Ability to work in a team to develop strategy and manage implementation of projects.Ability to worj independently with minimal supervision and to work effectively as a part of a team.Excellent knowledge of Mircosoft Office applications, in particular, wor, PowerPoint, Excel.Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and proficiency in English highly desired.
